This topic has lived in the shadows for way too long; it’s time to shine a light on it. AARP Innovation Labs is diving in head first, to open the dialogue, making it okay to talk about, and seeking solutions that help women manage their symptoms.

The average age of menopause in the U. S. is 51. Perimenopause is the 4-10 years leading up to that point can bring a variety of disruptive symptoms to a woman. In the postmenopausal period, some symptoms can diminish, while new ones appear.
